Discourse-Making of Wilayat (Model, Method and Tool)

Discourse is a pervasive concept and knowledge at some point in time. One of the cultural discourses in the beginning of Islam is the discourse of Wilayah [Guardianship], which can be used as a historical model for religious preachers by examining them historically, and based on religious teachings. The purpose of this study is to achieve the model, methods and tools of discourse in the Wilayah based on the verses and lifestyle of the infallibles. The research method is descriptive-analytical based on the method of content analysis. The findings showed that the discourse of guardianship in Islam refers to the relationship between a Muslim and the absolute guardian of God Almighty and God's guardianship over human beings. On this basis, the hierarchy of guardianship, that is, the guardianship of God, the guardianship of the Prophet, the guardianship of the Infallible Imams and the guardianship of the jurisprudents is formed. According to the religious teachings of awareness, reasoning and argument, linking the mission to the Wilayah, explaining and drawing the stages of the Wilayah, emphasizing the communication of the Wilayah, creating sensitivity, evangelism and warning, repetition and reminder, practical propagation (making an indication to the succession of the Prophet during his lifetime), ordering to create culture and using art are among the methods of creating the discourse of the Wilayah especially in the era of prophethood. In this way, the tools used can be summarized in speech, writing and behavior. The research results can be used for cultural and propagation centers.
