Abstract:
The Islamic Awakening and the beginning of the popular uprising that led to the overthrow of Mubarak marked the beginning of a new phase in Egyptian politics, which was expected to see the tyranny and dictatorship removed from the country forever and replaced by a democratic government based on a new political order. As president, the process of democratization continued, but in a short time, General al-Sisi arrested Morsi in a creeping coup and continued to seize power personally. What is the main question in this article is that; What have been the consequences of the uprising of the Egyptian people in 2011 so far? And which forces have influenced the process of democratization of the Egyptian people? The results of the investigation show that the pro-democracy uprising of the Egyptian people has failed with the intervention of the army and the removal of Mohamed Morsi from the presidency. The most important influential forces in the process of democratization of Egypt are: the army, the Muslim Brotherhood, secular nationalist parties and groups. The research method is qualitative, documentary and library, with the help of filing tools from Persian and English books and articles.
