Investigating the relationship between social participation and life satisfaction with a sense of social security among the citizens of Tabriz

A sense of security can be defined as feeling safe or secure from a threat. In contrast, a sense of insecurity and fear refers to a situation in which people are exposed to a threatening environment. It does not threaten or attack his property and health. It can be said that the person has a sense of security. This study was conducted in 1397 with the subject of investigating the relationship between social participation and life satisfaction with a sense of social security among the citizens of Tabriz; Which examines the three dimensions of the feeling of social security: life, financial and political security. The type of research in this research is applied and the research method is survey method and in terms of scope, it is expansive and in terms of time is cross-sectional. The statistical population was all citizens aged 14 to 65 years in Tabriz. The sample size according to Cochran's formula is 384 people and multi-stage cluster sampling method has been used. The measuring tool is a questionnaire. SPSS 25 software was used to analyze the data. The results show that the level of social security among the citizens of Tabriz is moderate; And among the three dimensions of the feeling of social security: life, financial and political security have the highest amount, respectively. The results of testing the hypotheses show that there is a positive and significant correlation between life satisfaction and social participation with a sense of social security. Also, the level of feeling of social security varies according to the level of education. Also, the level of social security does not vary by gender.
