Analyzing the dimention of unrest of 1401 from the perspective of Hybrid warfare
The unrest of 1401 with a complex and widespread design, which, according to all experts, had a subversive nature and was directed from abroad, was called a hybrid war. Knowing the components and dimentions of this hybrid war will lead to planning and preparation to face this issue in the future. The purpose of the current research was to analyze the unrest of 1401 from the perspective of hybrid warfare.
The current research is practical in terms of its purpose; In terms of nature, it was exploratory and descriptive-analytical. The community of participants included experts in the field of social security, police and armed forces in Tehran. The sample number of 17 people reached theoretical saturation with a targeted method. The research tool included semi-structured interview and data analysis with thematic analysis method. The validity and reliability of the interviews were confirmed with Guba and Lincoln criteria.
The findings of the research showed that the riots of 1401 were a full-scale Hybrid war with a complex design in the form of 3 overarching themes in 3 strategic, operational and tactical dimentions. Under the dimentions, 22 organizing themes and 117 indicators were identified.
The results of the research findings show that in the unrest of 1401, all the capabilities of combined warfare were used in three levels: soft, semi-hard and hard. Although the scope of the unrest has subsided, it is still being implemented strongly in other dimensions. Dealing with this phenomenon requires a combined approach and the use of all the country's capacities.
