The current situation of in-service training in the Ministry of Health is that the training is based on traditional patterns and the content of these courses is not aligned with the training needs of the staff. The purpose of the present research is to determine the priority of the dimensions, components and indicators of improving the effectiveness of the training courses while serving the staff of the central headquarters of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.
Descriptive survey research method is a mixed exploratory research in terms of practical purpose and in terms of data collection method. In the qualitative section, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 university experts who were selected through available sampling. The validity and reliability of the interviews were confirmed by experts and the data were analyzed through text coding. In the quantitative part, a questionnaire was designed and distributed among 351 selected staff by simple random sampling method and the data was analyzed with SPSS24 software.
In order to achieve the goal and determine the priority of dimensions, components and indicators, the data was analyzed by Friedman test, and the average value of the rank with the highest priority of the dimension is 4.3269 and the component is 4.3153.
The findings of the research show that among the extracted dimensions and components, there was the most attention to the dimension of responsibility instead of the sense of duty and to the component of preventing occupational isolation.
