The Comparison of Life Quality, Mental Health and Intellectual Intelligence in Teachers of Physical Education and Other Teachers of District 5 of Tehran

This research sought to provide evidence of the relationship between quality of life and mental health and spiritual intelligence in physical education teachers and other teachers in District 5 of Tehran.

This research was applied and correlational. The method of data collection was done mostly through field methods and using three questionnaires of mental health and spiritual intelligence and quality of life. The number of 66 physical education teachers and 162 teachers of other disciplines were selected based on Morgan's table, and the teachers' sampling method was random-classification. All statistical analyzes were performed with SPSS software.

The results of this research showed that the quality of life of physical education teachers was significantly different from that of teachers of other disciplines in the 5th district of Tehran, and physical education teachers had a higher average quality of life. Also, there was a significant difference in spiritual intelligence in physical education teachers and other disciplines in Tehran's 5th district, and mental health in physical education teachers and other disciplines in Tehran's 5th district had a significant difference, and physical education teachers had a higher average in mental health.

It is suggested that the education officials of the 5th district of Tehran give importance to physical activity programs for teachers and organize them as extracurricular programs or festivals. This work can be an effective factor in improving the quality of life, spiritual intelligence and mental health of teachers.
