The effect of media literacy education on facilitating women's entrepreneurship in social networks in Iran1
Objective Increasing awareness and university education has changed the position of women in society, and in today's world, women play an important role in changing the global economy. Today, women entrepreneurs play a growing role in promoting the economic and social development of society and creating businesses. Therefore, paying attention to providing the necessary conditions for the development of women's entrepreneurship has become more important than in the past and will help the economic development as well as the growth and prosperity of women themselves. In today's information society, according to the advances in information and communication technology, one of the ways to facilitate women's entrepreneurship is the use of virtual social networks. In social networks, which are considered as one of the most effective interactive environments in modern life, through media literacy for women, the process of creating business and creating jobs for women is provided. The ability to use social networks to process and produce information in the new business environment by women entrepreneurs can be improved through media literacy education. Unfortunately, media literacy is still mentioned as a new concept in Iran and its education has been neglected. The present article, prepared in a review way and with the help of library and internet resources, tries to investigate the effect of media literacy education on facilitating women's entrepreneurship in social networks in Iran.
