The relationship between the education of health principles and the health performance of elementary school girls in Farashband
School is an institution where children go to learn. Maintaining the physical, mental and social health of children is very important. The aim was to determine the effect of health principles education provided by school health educators on the performance of Farashband elementary school girls.
In this descriptive correlational research, 354 female students between the ages of 8 and 12 were randomly selected from Farashband girls' primary schools and 30 health educators were selected by census in 2011-2022. The research tool was two researcher-made questionnaires including questions in the field of personal health, examinations of mental health courses and empowerment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson, Spearman and t test in SPSS software.
There is a correlation between the empowerment of students with the degree of compliance with the principles of personal health (r = 0.49, P < 0.001), public health (r = 0.53, P < 0.001), mental health (r = 0.18). (P = 0.018), there is a significant relationship between the frequency of round examinations (r = 0.46, P = 0.044). r = 0.609, P < 0.001), mental health (r = 0.503, P = 0.018), communication with the coach (r = 0.261, P = 0.050), round examinations (0.17) = r, P 0.015 and students' ability (r = 0.49, p 0.001) has a significant relationship.
health education in schools is effective in improving the level of personal health, public health and mental health, and the more the students are influenced by health teachings and the more the time for periodical examinations, the more the ability of students to comply with the principles of personal health and Public has more effect in society.
