Women's Rights and the Media

Women as major population have played an important role in the culture and development of societies. Recent developments in economic and social structures, especially the emergence of the phenomenon of urbanization, which has affected not only the habits and behavioral methods, but also the thought and feeling patterns of the people. Also, the evolution of the family system in today's industrial world and the huge role of the media in the cultural changes of societies have made it necessary to recognize the importance of the role of women in the society and to assert their rights as a free human being. Today, one of the world's most important indicators for measuring democracy and freedom is the issue of women's equality and their awareness of their rights. Media and society have two-way communication which influence each other. This two-way relationship significant the importance of the media issue. The presence of women in the media is unavoidable. In this research, not only accept the presence of women in the media as a social right, but also by considering the cultural invasion in the country, the presence of women in the media has been deemed necessary as the main front of this battle. This necessity, like any other necessary action, does not contradict with the existence of rules and conditions for the employment and presence of women in the media.
