Mullasadra’s Viewpoint on the Art
The main issue addressed in the present study is whether Mullsadra, as a sage and philosopher, has a philosophical statement about art. The importance of the discussion of art is such that it has been discussed since the time of the early Greek philosophers such as Socrates and Plato, until the present time, and reflection on the nature of beauty and art has been part of the preoccupation of great philosophers. The Greek equivalent of art in ancient Greece was techne; the word techne in ancient Greece referred to techniques and crafts, both artistic and applied crafts. In this research, the thought of the founder of sublime wisdom, Sadr al-Din Shirazi, is investigated with a descriptive-analytical method based on the library method.
