NEO-PI-R questionnaire was used. The data was analyzed with the help of SPSS-24 software. The results of multivariate variance analysis showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the characteristics of five big personality factors of delinquent and non-delinquent drivers. In this way, the average personality traits of conscientiousness, agreeableness, extroversion, and openness to experience of normal drivers are significantly higher than those of delinquent drivers, but the psychopathy component of delinquent drivers is more than that of normal drivers. The findings indicate a significant difference between the personality traits of delinquent and non-delinquent drivers(P<0/05). Therefore, personality traits play a role in drivers' violations.
