The mediating role of Covid-19 anxiety in the relationship between resilience,social media addiction and death distrees
The aim of this study was to Investigating the relationship between Resilience, Social Media Addiction and death distress mediated by COVID-19 anxiety among the Staff of Mellat bank in Mashhad. This research was basic in terms of purpose, descriptive in terms of method and correlational. The statistical population of this study was the staffs of Bank Mellat in Mashhad who were working in different branches in 2021. In this study, 175 people (39 females, 136 males) were randomly selected as the study sample by cluster sampling method.Resilience scale, Social Media Addiction scale, covid-19 anxiety scale and death distrees scale were used to collect data. Path analysis method and spss-22 and Amos-24 software were used to analyze the data. The results of Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between covid-19 anxiety and death distress, covid-19 anxiety and resilience, covid-19 anxiety and social media addiction at the level of P <0.05. Also, the results of path analysis showed that the indirect effect of resilience and social media addiction on death distress through covid-19 anxiety is significant, Which are the values (impact factor = -0.064) and (impact factor = 0.041), respectively. overall, the findings of the present study indicate that the mediating role of Covid-19 anxiety in the relationship between resilience and death distress as well as social media addiction and death distress in Bank Mellat staff in Mashhad is confirmed.
