Abstract:

Human innate nature has called the attention of scholars of various disciplines of knowledge. In Islamic studies, some scholars have considered it of a special position and as the master issue. They have dealt with it through different approaches. In his words, Imam Ali (PBUH) has addressed man’s innate nature and its different aspects.
Adopting a descriptive-analytic method in their paper, the authors have intended both intellectual and traditional knowledge in order to specify its outputs in the Islamic lifestyle. In the course of scrutiny in different aspects of man’s nature as the inborn inputs, very interesting outputs have been achieved such as: “Allah-centeredness”, “rationality”, “spirituality” and right-centeredness” which may change man’s life radically from a “natural state” to a “pure” and “reasonable” one.
Findings are: the explanation of theoretical principles and foundations of faith in five areas of methodology, ontology, epistemology, anthropology and axiology in the course of the explanation of revealed world-view aiming at the realization of the Qur’anic lifestyle.
