A survey on Plato’s theory, in Islamic education and training based on the Quranic verses and Hadiths with an emphasis on Ayatullah Moṭahhari’s viewpoint
Since the Holy Qur'an is a book for the guidance of all human beings in all ages and the most important and major part of the teachings of the Prophet of Islam - like the size of the divine prophets - also includes educational and moral topics whose purpose was to educate and elevate man and bring him to ultimate happiness and perfection, therefore Islamic verses and traditions It includes the educational and moral system in order to bring people to happiness. Plato is a philosopher who based on his philosophical ideas presented an educational theory, some of his philosophical ideas have been accepted by Muslim philosophers, or he has something in common in educational debates with Ustad Motahari who based his theory on texts. According to this research, according to Plato, finding knowledge is the prelude to action and being educable in childhood, he believes that education includes the individual and social spheres and happiness is achieved by following virtue, while Based on Islamic verses and narratives in the field of education and training, Plato's theory has shortcomings such as the absence of levels of conduct in Plato's view, not considering meditation and self-calculation, not paying attention to the discussion of motivation, intention and sincerity in action, etc.
