Sustainable Supply Chain Competitiveness Model based on Dynamic Capabilities in the Automotive Industry

Uncertainty, the complexity of the business environment and the competitive environment reveal the need to pay attention to the increase of competitiveness in various industries, and sustainability in the supply chain as an influential part has attracted the attention of supply chain researchers and since dynamic capabilities provide a framework for gaining competitive advantage in the uncertain market and business environment; Therefore, in this research, the competitiveness model of the sustainable supply chain based on dynamic capabilities in the automotive industry was presented.

According to the purpose of this research, it is applied research and from the perspective of its nature and methodology, it is an exploratory study based on a case study, from the perspective of a tool for collecting field information using semi-structured interviews, and from the perspective of data type, it is a qualitative research. , which used the inductive qualitative content analysis approach to analyze the data obtained from interviews with 18 experts in this industry who were randomly and purposefully selected using the snowball method.

the conceptual model presented in the form of 29 concepts, 5 sub-categories (research and development, production, marketing, planning and communication), 2 main categories (strategic and operational) and one core category (the competitiveness of the sustainable supply chain based on dynamic capabilities in the automotive industry) were formed. This model helps the managers of the automotive industry to be ahead of other competitors in the field of competition.
