Analyzing the Role of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Its Applications in Medical Sciences

Artificial intelligence is known as one of the most important technologies of today's era and is growing and evolving at an increasing speed. Using this technology in medical sciences, where errors cause human losses, can help to increase the quality of medical services. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to familiarize with artificial intelligence technology and its applications in medical sciences.

The present study is a narrative review article. The search was carried out using the keywords artificial intelligence, medical science, medical technology and their Latin equivalents from the databases of reliable scientific databases PubMed, Science Direct and Ovid, Web of sciences and Google Scholar, SID, Magiran search engines until the end of October 2023. Articles that were not in line with the purpose of the research or were published in the form of a letter to the editor were excluded from the study. Finally, 14 related articles were selected from the 33 articles obtained.

The combination of artificial intelligence with medical science can save money and time in the diagnosis and management of diseases. Also, with quick and comprehensive analysis of huge data sets, it provides the possibility of quick and accurate decision making. Discussion and

The use of artificial intelligence systems has had significant effects in the increasing progress of medical sciences. Of course, like other new technologies, it has disadvantages and advantages, which can be used to improve services and education of medical sciences by strengthening its advantages and eliminating its disadvantages.
