Explaining the Mediating Effect of the Role of Educational Leaders in the Relationship between Social Responsibility and thePerformance of Teachers in Semiram City
Teachers' performance plays an important role inimproving the quality of the education system, and socialresponsibility can affect it. As a result, the current researchwas conducted with the aim of explaining the mediating effectof the role of educational leaders in the relationship betweensocial responsibility and teachers' performance.
The present study was applied interms of purpose and quantitative in terms of correlationalmethodology. The research community was all the teachers ofSemiram city in the academic year 1401-1400 in the numberof 878 people. The sample size was estimated to be 267 peoplebased on the table of Karjesi and Morgan, and this number wasselected using the available sampling method. The researchtools were questionnaires of educational leaders by Abediniaet al. (2019), social responsibility by Obaisat (2017) and jobperformance by Patterson (1991). 0.73 was obtained. Datawere analyzed by Pearson correlation and multiple regressionmethods in SPSS-22 software.
The findings showed that social responsibility hada direct and significant effect on educational leaders andteachers' performance, and educational leaders had a directand significant effect on teachers' performance (P<0.001).Also, social responsibility with the mediation of educationalleaders had an indirect and significant effect on teachers'performance (P<0.05).
Considering the mediating effect of educationalleaders in the relationship between social responsibility andteachers' performance, it is suggested that to improve theperformance of teachers and the education system, moreattention should be paid to social responsibility andeducational leaders and to provide the ground for theirpromotion.
