The role of the perception of police policies in conflict resolution with a mediating roleProfessional ethics of employees
In the current research, the main purpose was to determine the mediating role of professional ethics in the relationship between perceptions of organizational politics and conflict resolution styles.
The current research is a description of the survey correlation type with the structural equation approach, using Cochran's formula, 95 employees of Urmia police coop were determined as a statistical sample by simple random method. To collect data, three standard questionnaires have been used, including 1. to measure the perceived organizational policy from the questionnaire of Lao et al. (2017), 2. for conflict management styles from the Putnam questionnaire and 3. for professional ethics from the questionnaire from Cadozier (2002).
The data obtained from these tools were analyzed using the software Plus-Smart and SPSS in the descriptive and inferential part, and the result in the inferential part of the hypothesis analysis indicated that the perceived politics and conflict management styles had a significant negative relationship with the value of 0.312 and Professional ethics with conflict resolution styles are positively significant with a value of 0.887 and perceived politics with professional ethics with a value of 0.650 are negatively significant at a confidence level of 0.95. The direct effect of the variable of conflict management styles on the variable of perception of politics was 0.312 and the indirect effect of the variable of conflict management styles on the perception of politics through the mediating variable of professional ethics was 0.650.
Professional ethics is a process and rational thinking that its assimilation with organizational policies along with conceptualization between employees will resolve conflicts.
