An overview of citrus products exports in Mazandaran province, Sari city
In the present review article, the factors affecting citrus exports in Mazandaran are examined.The results show that Citrus marketing faces various problems in Iran are the huge share of intermediates in purchasing products, small share of producers from total price, high marketing costs coefficient, significant growth of wholesaling, high net profit of wholesaler's marketing operations, high ratio of producer's marketing coats to received price, the role of wholesaling market in crop market in efficiency, etc. Also, Mazandaran citrus exports have decreased due to exchange rate instability and the lack of a proper marketing system.generally, the effective factors on increasing citrus exports in Mazandaran are:The need to reform the production structure and support farmers, setting up commercial offices in different countries, conducting foreign marketing research, holding domestic and foreign exhibitions to introduce this part of Iran's economy, using the required statistics and data on volumeGlobal trade, development of research centers in target countries to awareness of the conditions in global markets to increase Iran's share in foreign trade in such markets.Therefore, Iranian export officials should pay attention to the fact that focusing on marketing can help increase foreign revenues and play an effective role in achieving non-oil exports.
