Investigating the Effect of Religious Beliefs and Work Conscience on the Organizational Commitment of Imam Khomeini Hospital Staff in Amol City
The present study aimed to investigate religiousbeliefs on organizational commitment with the mediating roleof work conscience in Imam Khomeini Hospital in Amol.
This research is applied in terms ofpurpose and quantitative in terms of type of research. It isdescriptive-survey in terms of data collection method. Thestatistical population included the staff of Imam KhomeiniHospital in Amol city. 183 people were selected as a sample.The sampling method is random. A questionnaire is used tocollect information. Cronbach's alpha was used for reliabilityand face validity was used for validity.
The obtained data were analyzed to test the researchhypotheses using LISREL software. The results of the mainresearch hypothesis were confirmed at 95% confidence level.The results showed that religious beliefs have a significanteffect on organizational commitment and work conscience ofemployees. Work conscience has a significant effect onorganizational commitment of employees. Conscience plays amediating role in influencing religious beliefs on employees'organizational commitment.
The results show that focusing on religiousbeliefs increases organizational commitment and this variableof work conscience also facilitates this relationship, so bystrengthening religious beliefs and creating a religious beliefpromotes organizational commitment of employees andeventually, their productivity will increase, so it seemsnecessary to pay attention to it in the organization.
