Examining the Duty-Oriented Approach to Citizenship from thePerspective of Islam and International Law
The purpose of this study was to investigate andexplain the duty-oriented approach to citizenship from theperspective of international law.
The research method used inthis article was descriptive-analytical. The citizenshipcoin has two sides; Right-oriented and duty-oriented. Therelationship between right and duty is a solid andinseparable relationship in the discussion of citizenshiprights in the international system.
The results of the research showed that sincethe full realization of citizenship rights in the internationalsystem and the enjoyment of freedoms is not possiblewithout predicting and observing the duties of citizenship,on this basis, in addition to predicting and guaranteeingdifferent rights for citizens, various tasks for Citizenshipis also foreseen.
However, considering that international lawis not affected by the specific point of view of agovernment or a country, which takes into accountindependence, territorial integrity, national order andsecurity, goals and national interests, and assigns dutiesto its citizens and performs certain duties. to predict, onthis basis, international law has entrusted thedetermination of tasks and duties of citizens to agovernment to which these citizens are subject to thatgovernment. Based on this, in international law, eachgovernment has predicted duties and responsibilities forits citizens in accordance with its governance conditions.
