Validation of the model of antecedents and consequences of formative evaluation of virtual classrooms during the covid-19 pandemic
In this study, the validation of the model of the antecedents and consequences of formative evaluation of virtual classrooms during the covid-19 pandemic has been addressed. The current study is an applied-developmental study in terms of its purpose, and it is a cross-sectional survey research in terms of the method and time frame of data collection. A Likert scale questionnaire was used to collect data. The reliability of the questionnaire was checked using composite reliability and Cronbach's alpha. Convergent validity was also used to validate the questionnaire. The statistical population in the quantitative section also includes graduate students. The sample size in the quantitative section was estimated at 384 people, and a two-stage sampling method was used for sampling. The partial least squares method was used to analyze the data. Based on the research results, 9 sub-categories and 43 sub-categories were identified. Based on the research model, creating a learning environment and finding talent and responding to students' educational needs have an impact on the formative evaluation of virtual classrooms. The participation of students in the discussion of online education and learning and the infrastructure of human resources and technology provide conditions to improve the empowerment of professors in formative assessment and ultimately lead to results such as improving the efficiency of the educational system, developing virtual education, and repairing the deficiencies and gaps in students' learning.
