Identifying and prioritizing effective factors on modern governance based on the functions of artificial intelligence of J.A.A. Police Command
The aim of this article is to identify and prioritize the factors influencing the governance of the AI-based modern policing in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The research method employed was a mixed-method approach with both a qualitative and quantitative component. The qualitative section utilized a grounded theory approach, while the quantitative section employed a descriptive-survey method. The qualitative sample consisted of 17 experts in the field of IT management and human resource management, while the quantitative sample consisted of top, middle, and operational managers in the AI and IT departments of the police force. Using purposive sampling, data were collected from 17 participants in the qualitative section and from 320 managers in the quantitative section. The data were gathered through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the structural equation modeling method with the smartpls4 software. The quantitative findings resulted in 121 indicators and 27 components presented in a paradigm model with 6 dimensions. Furthermore, the quantitative results indicated that teamwork with a coefficient of 0.924 was the highest priority factor, while cultural factors with a coefficient of 0.618 were the lowest priority. These findings highlight the importance of teamwork in the governance of the AI-based modern policing in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
