Challenges and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in the Environmental Sector, Climate Change, and Regulatory Proposals in this Field

The restless nature of humanity has always driven it towards the unknown, resulting in the introduction of new tools and ultimately changing the human lifestyle on this ancient planet. Artificial intelligence, a transformative power in our modern world, is one of these tools that has brought about a fundamental transformation. This phenomenon has created opportunities in all areas, including environmental sustainability and climate change, defining and designing facilities and capabilities that are very effective in securing, optimizing, and preventing biodiversity extinction. However, despite artificial intelligence's opportunities for easier and more advanced living, it has also been accompanied by challenges. This paper, while introducing this phenomenon, highlights some of the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence and examines its implications for sustainable environmental development
