Design, implementation and evaluation of educational game for the topic of the periodic table in the tenth grade chemistry lesson
The purpose of this study was to build a mobile educational game based on learning theories for the topic of the periodic table and the effect of this method on students' academic achievement in the tenth grade of high school chemistry. The statistical population of this study included all female students in the tenth grade of mathematics and experimental high school in Rey city in the academic year 1398-1399. Multi-stage cluster sampling method was used to select the sample. There were two groups of mathematics and experiment in each of these schools, one school was randomly considered as the control group and the other school as the experimental group. Two groups of 20 people were formed, in one group, a designed educational game (coin 79) was presented to them, and for the other group, question and answer sessions were conducted online, and finally, due to the dropout of 39 subjects in ten sessions, were located. In this study, univariate t-test was used to analyze statistical data and univariate ANOVA test was used to analyze the effect of pre-test on coin 79 post-test, and SPSS software was used to analyze statistical data. The results showed the effectiveness of the game (coin 79) more than the control group and confirms the effectiveness of this game
