Abstract:

Ayatollah Khamenei has long emphasized the role of Arbaeen in Islamic history. It has proved a massive, powerful, and impressive movement of immemse cultural, political, and civilization-building import, with its escalatingly global trend that receives momentum year by year. In such a massive, transnational march, millions of people get together in Iraq and walk to Karbala. In this way, this global march makes a promising ground for the reappearance of the awaited, 12th Infallible Imam al-Mahdi.
