The effect of CEO power on added economic value with emphasis on corporate governance

The present study investigates the effect of the CEO's power on economic added value with an emphasis on corporate governance. This research is practical from the point of view of purpose, and from the point of view of correlation methodology, it is causal type (post-event). The statistical population of the research is the companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange, and using the systematic elimination sampling method, 130 companies were selected as the research sample in the 6-year period between 1396 and 1401. The method used to collect information is a library, and Stata software was used to test the research hypotheses. The results of the research show that the CEO's power has a direct effect on economic added value. However, corporate governance does not affect the relationship between CEO power and added economic value.
