The Position of “Construe” in the Artistic Recitation of the Holy Quran
The art of recitation (tartil) is a beautiful medium for reflecting divine guidance teachings and can have a tremendous impact on the human spirit and soul. Due to its association with divine miracles throughout the history of Islam, especially in the last two centuries, this art has gained a special importance and place among the Muslims of the world. One of the most important aspects of recitation of the Holy Quran is examining the place and role of “construe” in this art. The analysis of dimensions and characteristics, principles, rules and results of exploiting the art of recitation of the Qur'an explains its importance and place as a penetrating medium for the propagation of religious knowledge. In this article, using the descriptive-analytical method and collecting library information, based on the teachings of the Quran and Islamic traditions, a survey of the stages of description, analysis and explanation of the position of “construe” as the external and determined form of the meanings of the Holy Quran has been carried out. The results of this article indicate that the “construe” reflects the meaning of the verses in the soul of the audience; Therefore, it can have a great role in conveying the message of the Qur'an, of course, this is fully realized when the reciter is familiar with the principles and rules of recitation and the meanings of the verses.
