Analysis of the Persian content of the first secondary school based on the introduction of myths, models and Iranian-Islamic thinkers

One of the principles of formal and general education isto emphasize IranianIslamic culture and Persian languageand literature, and for this purpose,formal and general education shouldintroduce the symbols of Iranian Islamic culture andcivilization.The aim of the current researchis toinvestigate the level of attention paid tomyths,models andIranian-Islamic thinkers in the content ofPersian books of the first secondary school.

Thestatistical population of all the books of the first yearof high school and the statisticalsample ofPersian books of the first yearof high school wereselected in atargeted manner.A ready-made checklistresearch tool that has 81% validity and reliability.Frequency measurement was also used fordata analysis.

InThe research results showed that atotal of 197 sentences havebeen introduced in the first middle school Persiantextbooks (mentioning the nameof the character, introducing the works,describing thebiography, describing the activities, presentingexamples of the works). AmongIranian Islamic myths,models and thinkers in thetextsof Persian books, literary characters with afrequency of75sentences equal to 38% are in the first place,scientific and philosophical characters and fighters with a frequencyof43 and31sentencesequalto21%and 15% in the positionsThey are second and third. Meanwhile, less than 10% attention has been paid to political,sports,and artistic personalities.
