Examining and comparing educational topics in Persian primary school books of the 40s and 90s

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to compare and review Persian primary school books published in the 40s and 90s with regard to their educational aspects. In this regard, the components that have been considered for comparison, analysis and review of books are: religious, moral, national teachings, social interaction, creativity and self-confidence, knowledge of Iran and the world, preservation of the environment. The research method of this research is descriptive-analytical with a statistical analysis approach. The obtained results indicate that the most attention of the authors in both periods was focused on moral teachings. In the next order, the content of Persian primary school books of the 40s is mostly emphasized on teachings related to social interaction, and the Persian primary school books of the 90s emphasize more on the teachings of creativity and self-confidence. The biggest change is related to the significant growth of religious teachings and beliefs from the forties to the nineties, which statistics show double.
