Investigating Effective Factors on the Fight against Corruption Based on Comparative Studies of Selected Countries: With the Approach of Organizational Behavior Management (Study Case: Sports and Youth Department of Central Province)

Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effective factors in fighting corruption with the organizational behavior management approach in the sports and youth department of Central Province based on comparative studies conducted in Denmark, Finland, New Zealand, Singapore and Sweden, which have the first and second best performance in the fight. With corruption, it was done based on the status of the global corruption index. The research was of a descriptive-correlation type and in terms of data collection, it was a survey. The statistical population of the research was all the employees of the Sports and Youth Department of the Central Province and the sub-committees in the number of 890 people. According to Cochran's limited formula, the sample size was equal to 268 people. The random sampling method was simple. Field method and questionnaire tool were used for data analysis. In this research, the standard questionnaire of Bourdia et al. (2000) for the variable of organizational honesty, from the questionnaire of Bateman et al. (2004) for the variable of work ethics, from the questionnaire of Balfour and Wechsler (1996) for the variable of organizational commitment, from the standard questionnaire of Williams and Anderson ( 1991) was used for the variable of organizational citizenship behavior and Abdulahi's questionnaire (2013) was used for the variable of fighting against corruption. The reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha method and its validity was confirmed by content validity method and obtaining opinions from university professors. SPSS and Lisrel software were used to analyze the data. The results of the research showed that organizational honesty, work ethics, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive effect on the fight against corruption in the Sports and Youth Department of Central Province.
