A Contemplation of the Imminence of the Day of Judgment based on a Comparative Stdudy of Interpretive Views

The Holy Quran, in response to the questioners about the Day of Judgment, has stated seemingly different verses. Sometimes considers the knowledge about that as specific knowledge to God, even the holy prophet does not know. In some cases, reflects the signs of that day and some verses indicate the coming of the Day of Judgment. Meanwhile, some verses also state that the Day of Judgment has already taken place. These cases are seemingly contradictory, and their ambiguity increases with the examination of interpretive perspectives. This research, by examining the views of differenct commentators on related verses, has considered some of the interpretations as understanding the appearance of the Qur'an. The esoteric interpretation of these verses considers the Day of Judgment as a level of existence that is beyond time and already exists. This point can resolve many conflicts and apparent contradictions of the verses and be a way to understand the true and correct approach of the Day of Judgment and God's exclusive knowledge of it.
