Abstract:
Background and purpose

the theory of globalization of criminal law and specifically the globalization of punishments based on the standards and concepts of human rights and respect for human dignity, leading to the influence of criminology, to the thought and process of globalization by explaining the causes of delinquency and the development of enforcement procedures. It has guided the legislator in improving and amending criminal laws. Thus, criminal law thinkers generally accept the influence of these doctrines in criminal law, especially that these doctrines are based on empirical data and are relatively proven. One of the important types of using criminological data and its results is new types of punishment in general criminal law of legal systems.

Method

The current research is a descriptive and causal type of study and is conducted in a library-document format.

Findings and results

Over time, criminology and its sub-branches have made criminal law dynamic and advanced. The solutions proposed by this field are without political orientation and are based only on scientific research, if they are used correctly and with planning, they help to realize just criminal rights. Therefore, in the light of criminological studies and criticisms that have been made on the three issues of criminal law, criminal ideas have changed and with the acceptance of the globalization of new types of punishment such as: "semi-liberty system", "electronic surveillance" and " Alternative punishments of imprisonment have entered the general criminal law.
