Abstract:
The facile chemical synthesis method was used for preparing Fe-Co-V supported on zeolite Nanostructures. In this study, Fe-Co-V supported on zeolite Nanostructures as a good, natural, and inexpensive adsorbent has been introduced and used for the removal of Erythrosine and Carmoisine dyes from several water solutions successfully. The structural functionalities and morphological observations were obtained using characterization techniques Of Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform InfraRed (FT-IR) spectroscopy, Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) operating at 100 kV respectively. The effect of various parameters such as pH, dye concentration, amount of adsorbent, contact time, and temperature on removal processing for erythrosine and carmoisine removal was investigated. The adsorption process depended on pH, Initial dye concentration, adsorbent dose, contact time, and temperature. Optimized values for Carmoisine removal were: pH: 9, contact time: 120 min, the concentration of dye: 20 mg/L, and catalyst mass: 0.04 g were finally obtained. Optimized values for Erythrozine removal were pH: 9, contact time: 120 min, concentration of dye: 10 mg/L, and catalyst mass: 0.04 g were finally obtained. The maximum removal was 99.5 % according to optimal conditions. Adsorption isothermal data could be interpreted by the Langmuir and Freundlich, isotherm models. The experimental data were in line with the Freundlich adsorption isotherms.
