Preposition be in Persian and its Equivalents in Arabic Language
Abstract:
Although it has been considered that prepositions have not independent meanings among other terms, the meanings of other terms are identified according to context and style. So, they are context, combination and relationship between terms in the sentence, which determine the meaning. Preposition "be", like other prepositions, which are called prepositions in Persian, has not any independent meaning out of the sentence, rather we can not suppose any meaning for it. The same applies to Arabic prepositions. Mentioning the meanings of "be" and giving its equivalents in Arabic language, this article aims at opening a way, though narrow, for those interested in translation and for Arabic language learners who want to learn Persian
