The Interpretational Method of Baydawi and the Status of his Interpretation

Anvar altanzil wa Asrar altaavil” of Baydawi is one of the concise famous and useful interpretation of Quran in 8th century. There is a consensus between scholars about its validity in contrast to similar concised works and it is a handbook served the need of a curriculum as well. The conciseness and avoiding prolixity together with explanation ofarguments in a precise way are the features of above- mentioned book. This work is considered as an acceptable interpretation by personal opinion in classic classification of orthodox interpretations. This work actually was written as opposed to kashshaf of Zamakhshari, with an asharite approach. Although, considering its content, it owes more to kashshaf and interpretation of fakhre Razi. This article attends to study its method and its status between other considerable interpretations.
