There are a lot of writings concerning mystics and Sufis of the past and the present. Each one of the researchers took a special perspective towards them. But few writers or scholars have endeavored to explore the morale and attitudes of Sufis from psychological point of view.Ms. Anne Marie Schimel, who is fortunately a well-known scholar in the Iranina scientific community, has focused her attention to the unclear and dark points of the above mentioned subject, as stated in the paper, and has strived to explore the Sufis and mystics affairs psychologically. This has been achieved through the use of Quranic verses and prophetic traditions, poets such as Rumi, Attar, and mystic passages from scholars including Roozbahan Bagh., Ms. Schimel tries to reveal that Sufis and mystics are not something superficial but are based on Quranic contents.
