Effects of New Inputs on Production of Rice in Shaft Region of Gilan Province

Abstract:
For determining the effects of new inputs on risk of rice production in Shaft region of Gilan province, model of Just and Pope quadratic function was applied. Average production function showed increasing return to scale and risk production function showed that increase in cultivated land and chemical fertilizer caused increase in production risk of rice. Therefore, reform of chemical fertilizer policy has been recommended.
