Islamic Azad University Scientific Production from 1990 to 2007 based on ISI Databases

Using ISI Statistics and Scientometrics Indicators, the present study surveys the Islamic Azad University (IAU) Scientific Production from 1990 to 2007. The number of IAU names indexed in ISI Web Of Science is more than 100. During this period with doing Authority control for retrieving all of IAU names, 1961 scientific papers were retrieved from WOS DataBases, 1249 out of 1961 scientific papers indexed under the name of ISLAM AZAD UNIV. IAU possesses 2.23% of Iran Scientific production in 2000, that this number promoted to 7.15% in 2007. 1937 out of 1961 were indexed in SCIE, 56 titles were indexed in SSCI and only 4 titles were indexed in A&HCI. 1717 out of 1961 were produced in the Article format, and 99.95% of all these Scientific Production were produced in English, IAU Authors have published most of their Scientific Productions in Cooporation with researchers in USA, Canada And Germany. "Rustaiyan, A" with 94 scientific production is in the first place among other IAU Authors. The Subject Category of "Chemistry, Multidisciplinary" indexed 240 out of 1961 titles published by IAU. The journal "Applied Mathematics& Computation" has published 144 out of 1961 titles during these years. "Iranian Polymer Journal" published only 19 out 1961 of IAU’s scientific production that this Journal was in the 10th place among journals Published by IAU during 1990 to 2007.
