The Study of Preaddictional Status in Addicts and Comparison With Normal Adults
Abstract:
Present survey attempts to study the pathological backgrounds which involved in shaping of addiction disorder.In this study case sample was that of them were addicts of urmia reability center and of others were normal adults of urmia. Addicts sample was chosen as simple random sampling and normal adult sample was chosen as simple nonrandom sampling. Cases were male and their educations were at last elementary school and upper. Data came from Items questioner that were estimated validity and Reliability. Data were analyzed based on t test in the causal - comparative design.The results showed, preaddictional background in addicts were significantly different from normal adults. The existence of background and special susceptibility is necessary for acceptance and abuse of substance. Preventive intervention must be onset in childhood and family system. Treatment intervention must emphasis in psychological, social aspects as well as physical aspect.
