Author(s):
Abstract:
Sometime after the fall of Gharaghoviyunlu's government, one of the princes named Gholi, went to Dakan, and could enter the government of Bahmanids. He climbed the ladder of progress and when was appointed as the governor of Golkande, he then declared independence. He soon established close relations with the Safavids Dynasty and Shah Ismaeel. They could remain in Golkande and Hyderabad for two centuries. Some features such as: similarity in religion, culture and common enemies strengthened their relation. When Ourangzib invaded them and overcame them, their relations with the Safavid Dynasty were weakened.
