A conceptual framework for assessing the university performance

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to present a conceptual framework for assessing the Islamic Azad university performance. The research method was a survey and the population included 33 executive managers of the policy-making divisions. The gathering data instrument was a questionnaire developed based on the assessment indicator of higher education system of Iran.The collected data was analyzed by implementing factorial analysis. The results of the study showed that the research and education quality factors are holding an advanced position. Student’s factors and cultural and service aspects are respectively holding in next position in rank. In this research which is based on prioritized indicators we can apply an appropriate organization performance assessment system as a 360 degree feedback model for assessing universities.
