Social Factors Influencing Youth and Juvenile Delinquency; and Methods to Prevent Them

Abstract:
It is not negotiable that development in societies depends on health, professional, responsible and young work labors, and criminality is a serious threat of this power. The objective of this research is to recognize the effective social elements directing masculine youths and juveniles to criminality. The method of this research is a kind of survey, and the data are collected by questionnaires. The sample includes 96 masculine juveniles and youths which during October 2008 to January 2009 were imprisoned in Birjand Jail. According to the findings of the research, there is a meaningful relation between family disorder,peers, and family poverty variables and the criminality of responders. But no meaningful relation was found between migration and leisure time spending variables and the criminality of responders.
