in Creating Motivation from a Quranic Viewpoint

In order to define agreeable life and making known the way to attain it, the glorious Quran uses different methods to motivate man to achieve the goal. "Encouragement" is one of the important ways of stimulating man to achieve agreeable life and achieve the hoped-for goal. Concerning the words and expressions used to encourage man, those who are encouraged, encouragers and incentives, devices of encouragement, and various kinds of rewards offered to those who deserve praise, are among the devices of encouragement used in the Quran. It seems that the common feature of such devices of encouragement which are explained in different ways is that they have a motivating impact. The present paper expounds the aforementioned issue in the light of the verses of the Holy Quran through a descriptive-analytical method.
