Investigating the Role of Organizational Infrastructures in Achievement to world-class Manufacturing

Nowadays all businesses face the competitive challenges posed by the global economy. Considering development of competition on the global level, although most studies have focused on world-class manufacturing, a few studies have been carried out in which experimental documents have been collected to identify the vital factors for the implementation of world-class manufacturing in developing countries. In this view, the main aim of this study is to investigate the vital factors for the implementation of world-class manufacturing in production companies of our country and to develop a framework for manufacturing organizations in order to join the world-class. In the present study, one main hypothesis and five secondary hypotheses are suggested. Since sampling has been used for the approximation of society's parameters, presumption statistics have been used for data analysis. In this research, simple random method is used for sampling and library observation is used to attain perfect information about the subject. A field research is also conducted in Sadid Pipes & Equipments Production Company. The statistical population of this research includes all the managers and experts of the company. The instrument for data collection is questionnaire. SPSS software is used for statistical data analysis. Since one of the main strategies of the company is to increase export and to enter global markets of gas and oil, the present study can be important in this respect. With regard to the fact that establishing virtual organizations, outsourcing and creating temporary continuities are among the characteristics of world-class organizations, the managers of organizations can gain opportunities to decrease the expenses and to increase the efficiency through joining the world-class organizations.
