The application of political tactics based on problem solving approach (Case of: Employee of University of Shahid Beheshti)

Abstract:
The aim of present study is to examine the relationship between political tactics andindividuals’ problem-solving methods. For this purpose, a sample of 220 was randomlyselected from 1000 employees of Shahid Beheshti University. In order to measure thevariables, the standard questionnaire of problem-solving method of Helrigel, Slocholm, andWoodman and the political behavior questionnaire of A.J. Dobrin were used. The resultsindicated that there is a positive relationship between emotional judgment and flattery,political application of the information, the creation of moral obligation, association withinfluential individuals and establishing a supporting base. However, there is a negativerelationship between rational judgment and flattery, political application of information, thecreation of moral obligation, association with influential individuals and establishing asupporting base. In addition, there is a parallel relationship between witnessed perceptionand political application of information, and the creation of moral obligation. On the otherhand, a negative relationship exists between intuitive perception. flattery, politicalapplication of information, and the creation of moral obligation.
