Identify and analyze patterns in the middle level (500 hpa) of air pollution Isfahan

To consider air pollution in Isfahan, Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) data of 3 stations of pollution quality survey (Laleh squar, Azadi and Bozorgmehr) during 1384-86 are used. Approach in this research has been environmental to circulation. Hence to identify the effect and relation of daily extreme PSI, days included a number over 120 are chosen during mentioned statistical course. So maps of middle atmosphere patterns (500hectopascal) are extracted from NCEP/NCAP climatic station for the coordinates of 10˚ to 70˚ E and 10˚ to 70˚ N. The result of this study represents that circulation patterns of middle atmosphere have significant effect on air pollution in Isfahan. A source region of extensive high pressures is observed over a large part of Iran special mentioned area. This causes stability and particles density in Isfahan.
