Landslide Susceptibility Zonation in Lorestan based on TOPSIS Fuzzy Algorithm

Abstract:
Landslide potential is amplified by Iran's predominantly mountainous topography, tectonic as well as seismic activity and various climatic and geologic conditions. Hillside instability factors such as slope, geology, landuse, etc. leads increasing landslide potential. In this research, the landslide potential zonation focusing on TOPSIS FYZZY application, is considered. The analyzed data include slope, aspect, landunit, landuse, Distance to Fault and Distance to river. Among 162 recorded landslide points, 70% have been chosen as training sites and the rest were used as testing parts. Results of calculating Separation Measures show that if all of the factors (degree of membership function, degree of nonmember ship, and degree of uncertainty) are used together, the Euclidean distance method leads to better results comparing to the Hamming distance. The result obtained from measuring Separation Measures via four measurement method show that Fuzzy TOPSIS includes acceptable efficiency in landslide hazard zonation.
