Abstract:
OPEC and WTO are two international institutions. Seemingly these are different and separated from each other for their different origins, domains and operations. The aim of WTO which is development and improvement gain of world trade, explains its decisions. Also the goal of OPEC that is to increase oil revenues explains its policies. In fact the production of OPEC is one of the most important production factors and on the other hand, OPEC member countries are significant importers of final goods which are produced by leader member of WTO (industrial development countries). Therefore, the relations of these organizations are very important. This article, by observing origins, positions, attitudes and policies that each of them operated against to each other, indicates that decision making in the mentioned organizations has been regardless to economic dependence between them.
