The effects of supplemental irrigation and N-applications on remobilization in two dry land wheat cultivars

Abstract:
In order to investigate the effects of different levels of supplemental irrigation in 4 levels (control and booting, anthesis and grain filing periods), N- applications in 4 levels (0, 50, 100 and 150 kg/ha N net) and 2 wheat cultivars (Cross alborz and Sardari) on remobilization an experiment was conducted in research farm of the faculty of agriculture, Razi University, Kermanshah during 2008-2009. Results showed that the highest remobilization of peduncle, other internodes and remobilization efficiency were in supplemental irrigation in grain filling, booting and anthesis stages, respectively. Remobilization efficiency of penultimate and other inter nodes was higher in control treatment. In all supplemental irrigation treatments, Nitrogen rates and Cultivars remobilization of other inter nodes were higher than straw spike, peduncle and penultimate, respectively. But in Control (Rain fed) treatment, remobilization of straw spike was Higher than of other internodes, peduncle and penultimate, respectively.
